‘Cleaning’ the vocal track using ai is sort of the same thing here, though? right?

They are using ai to learn his vocal signature, then filling in ‘dirty’ portions with something that sounds like his voice would singing the same words that he was in those portions.

Am I completely misunderstanding the technology?
