I was researching ai before llms for a gen ed class, this isn’t the sensationalized type of ai, ai in medicine and sht is pretty cool. Hospitality ai is getting too good too fast tho. Robot hotels and restaurants would not be suprising.

Gonna kill the genre’s popularity in the us, they couldve at least had ppl hype for any animation they made like solo leveling was only hyped up because we all pirated it years ago, I wouldve never paid for vertical scroll comics and I still wont. They are junk reading, a step below progresion fantasy/litrpgs and 2-3 steps below high fantasy. You know you are wasting your time when reading them and at least for me, it effects my brain like using tiktok daily, just chase quick dopamine.

Complete opposite, every rewatch I’m bored until the fire happens, when the real show starts for me, but I weirdly grew up watching this show as a kid, so that might effect that.

I think it really peaks once they leave agrestic, mexico arc is pretty entertaining and how it ends

Ik but they do dress to impress type kid sht, not really chatting and not that much videogame type screen time, they more watch youtube/tv, groomings everywhere, at least they arent actively facing racism for their appearence/culture since thats not exposed

Forgot I use an extension for dynamic tiling, always need something like that on any de/os.

Even then all you need is arcmenu (customizable startmenu with many easy to use presets) and dash to panel/dock to get it looking nice, it’s pretty usable by default if you don’t like clutter. I love scrolling through the extension store and seeing what people made for their needs that might fit mine. I have dozens but I don’t need them, it’s all just a nice bonus. Mostly also use tophat to show resource usage, chronomix for a timer for work in the topbar, the one that adds the background app icons, and idr the customization ones to make the top bar be colorful and have seperated buttons instead of a bar.

All the gnome hate is why I used kde for months before giving gnome a proper look (initially tried it for 5 seconds and didn’t even try to use extensions), I have not wanted to go back for the 6 months I’ve been using gnome.

Thats not a con for gnome, thats why I like gnome, I buuld it how I want, extensions for what I need, no settings for what I dont want/need.

The only upside for windows is the few games not supported on linux work and I get 21:9 4k 180hz over hdmi, but im better off using 21:9 1440p 60 with my current dying gaming laptop that heats up way too fast. I play beamng and don’t and it’s stable around 50fps anyways, will swap to display port with my next pc so windows fr is only around for iracing and wrc, I wish more ppl would swap to push these games to support it.

I swapped back (250gb paritition on my 2nd internal ssd) for iracing and a few other nonsupported games. (and to do some initial hotas setup, moza updates, etc.) It’s wild how slow windows is just in regular use, even opening the settings and clicking stuff takes 5 years while it’s all snappy and fast on linux.

I abused fast travel, all I remember from bl3 are the long boring unskippable non cutscene cutscenes. It always felt like they were there to artificially extend the time. I’d rather it just be a cutscene, over my gameplay while listening becoming just walking in circles waiting to actually play the game.

3 was extra short, didnt feel like replaying it, just played it last year, didn’t feel like buying 4 and I can afford it + have free time. It just doesn’t look appealing, will def buy when it inevitably goes on sale for like 10-20$

Demand for new games will always be up, we aren’t the audience, kids, teens, and new adults are. They don’t feel any nostalgia for the past, they want the newest freshest coolest thing, they buy 2k, fifa, etc. every year simply because it’s newz

My uncle also likes israel weirdly even tho they likely moved to america because of operation Blue star. My uncles and grandpa did get saved by an isreali ship and flown to their destination first class after their cargo ship (they worked on) wen’t down on the way to america and they were lost at sea for a couple days.

I had family members happily telling me to join (they aren’t in it, just saw they were hiring on the news) when I couldn’t find a job, older sikhs just see it as a government job and can’t fathom how corrupt this government is. They compare it to india’s corruption and living in Punjab and think of the process they went through to come here legally and become citizens, they here the news and think, damn these ppl didnt sell their whole lives to afford to move here, they just hopped the border and now they get government benefits off our taxes, etc.

And why would they believe their younger family members over the literal news and facebook, why would tv and the internet lie to them. That dude should have never joined and it’s possible he was forced to after not finding a job elsewhere (idk i spent two years applying for a degree related job in my area before I gave up and started training AI, shts hard out here), depends on how strict his parents are. We aren’t like white ppl, we pretty much live with or around our parents forever and are raised to always listen to them, raised dependant so it isn’t easy for us to move out, like man likely has no credit, nothing saved.

Idk, I’m glad my parents are relatively liberal compared to most legal immigrants, lean democrat and have no issues with illegals. Like a good 25-35% of sikhs struggled to get here and become legal and spent a lot of money, just to be treated like and called illegals, so instead of hating the ppl harassing them, the whites, they hate the illegals.

I regretted buying a key for my handheld, it runs okay, not the best graphics but you save a lot of memory with the version meant for handhelds. Just did not enjoy it, maybe wouldve on playstation with friends if they were interested, just does not feel good to move around. I played helldivers 1 back when it was a ps plus game and I prefer that one and I have always been third person > topdown.
