Nowhere near enough to actually punish them for doing what they surely knew was illegal, but at least some justice has been served.
They extracted tens of billions of dollars and are only ordered to pay out something less than 1%, after illegally seizing land. It’s a win for the company. The indigenous groups were asking for like 1.5 billion, not a tenth of that.
