s6e16 “Collective”

A little early for spooky season, but I blame NegativeNull for frightening us all.

Header template, for highlighting strange or otherwise macabre details throughout Trek.

IMDB trivia:

It is never revealed what became of the Borg infant. When asked in 2000, Brannon Braga stated the infant had been returned to its people off-screen.

Watching anything released before HD was commonplace in 4k is a huge mistake for reasons like this.

It’s pretty rough. They jiggle it in the tank a bit when systems are failing and I couldn’t help but laugh. Still disturbed, but laughed.

I get a lot of hate for saying it, but this is how I feel about the creepy CGI baby from the otherwise top tier film Children of Men. It ruins an otherwise powerful scene for me.

lmao that’s less creepy and more absurd it even made it into a “serious” film. Especially him using his thumb to make the hand move. I had never seen this. I’m dead.

EDIT: Also, Children of Men at least had the excuse that you can’t really film a live birth for a movie, you don’t really have a lot of options of how to show a realistic just-born baby. American Sniper has no such excuses this is hilarious.
