I have a Canon Maxify 2750.

Up until now I’ve been using the standar linux drivers for it but they have a serious limitation I really need to solve which is I can only print one page at a time, on one sheet of paper. Printer is capable of full duplex printing.

If been able to install the drivers before but now I’me being confronted with an unexpected _"("_ error. Nothing more, nothing less.

I run the install script and it just fails.

Can someone lend a hand on this, please?

From screenshots of having the GUI installed (It’s looking like some sort of Web Config or Printer Settings pave that has toggles for 2-Sided/Duplex printer, as well as playing with the quality of the print jobs. Maybe I was misunderstanding thr purpose of the gutenprint-printer-app

Give it a go, we’re curious, and I’m invested in you overcoming this silly printer hoops-and-loops getting just the basic features ironed out.

      Do it. Do it now.

Sorry to inform you that besides filling my hard drive with unnecessary clutter, my printer remains as was.

Now… How do I purge my system from all this?

bash simply returns a command not found message when invoking gutenprint-printer-app

          sudo snap remove gutenprint-printer-app

          Then

          sudo apt purge snapd

Sorry I couldn’t be the fixer here. No disrespect meant, just trying to help. LOLseas

No worries. Somewhere, somehow, the solution awaits.
