minus-squareObilinkfedilinkarrow-up3·2 months agoI think these types of greenhouses typically also use sunlight through the the roof/walls like a normal greenhouse and the artificial lights are only in supplement so they can control the amount/duration of light year round.

The Netherlands are one of the most polluted place in the world. No mountains and all the greenhouses makes a terrible mix.
At least they got great cities and endless supply of tomatoes…
